Yuzvendra Chahal Changed His Game Plan To Get Success In 3rd T20 Against South Africa

India Vs South Africa: Team India managed to win by 48 runs in the do or die match against South Africa. Star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal played an important role in Team India’s victory. Chahal took three important wickets for Africa. After proving costly in the first two matches, Chahal told that he got this success because of changing his game plan.

Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs and he also got the man of the match title for his performance. Talking about his game plan, Chahal said, “In the last two matches, I made mistakes. I tried to bowl more sliders and hit the ball faster. But now I changed my seam position. Getting spin is a strong part of my bowling. I got the ball turned and tried to put the ball slowly.

Questions were starting to arise on Chahal

Chahal further said, “I put the ball in the area which is strong for me. All my focus was on this thing. When batsmen apply reverse sweep, the situation becomes difficult for the bowlers. But I had another plan and fielding was also done accordingly. My bowling was not good in two matches and the coach instructed me to bowl at my own strength.

Let us inform that in the first two matches, Chahal had spent 75 runs in bowling 6.1 overs and he got only one wicket. After the poor performance, questions were being raised about Chahal being in the team. But Chahal has not only silenced his critics but has also helped Team India to stay in the series. With this, Chahal has once again proved why he is currently the number one spinner of Team India in this format.
